Run a pub, bar, club or hotel? Join the UK's largest live music marketplace to simplify your bookings and be a part of a national music movement. GigPig won't charge you any platform booking fees for any gigs you host as part of SSW.^*

^*GigPig will be removing their booking fees on gigs across these dates, artists fees will still be paid by the venue.

What Is Seed Sounds Weekender?

Seed Sounds Weekender is the UK’s largest free multi-venue music festival, taking place from 26-28 September 2025. Powered by GigPig, it brings thousands of live acts to pubs, bars, restaurants, and hotels across the country, celebrating the venues where music careers begin.

Think about the Arctic Monkeys at The Grapes, Amy Winehouse at Rayner’s, Oasis at The Boardwalk, all started in small, local venues pubs just like these. This is a nationwide spotlight on the spaces that shape the sound of tomorrow.

How Do I Take Part In Seed Sounds Weekender

If you’re already on GigPig, you’re good to go! Just start booking gigs for the festival weekend on the 26th to the 28th of September through the platform, and you’ll instantly be involved with the Seeds Sounds Weekender! It’s completely free to take part, no credits will be taken for any gigs booked that weekend.

Not on GigPig yet? No problem, you can sign up hereto start booking your live music and entertainment for your venue and be part of the movement. All Seed Sounds Weekender gigs will be free to post, no credits required so you can get involved straight away with no gig booking fee.

What if I already have gigs booked for that weekend?

That’s great news! If you already have gigs booked through GigPig between the 26th and the 28th of September, they’ll count toward your participation. No credits will be taken for those gigs.

Is there a cost to be involved?

There’s no fee to take part in the Seed Sounds Weekender, and no credits will be taken for any gigs booked for the weekend. The only cost is paying your booked artists, as you normally would.

Can I curate my own line-up?

Yes! You choose your artists and set your schedule via the GigPig platform, just like normal. You know your crowd the best, so make sure you’re booking the artist who best suits your vibe and energy.

Can I participate in just one of the days, not the whole weekend?

Yes. You can book gigs for any or all of the festival days, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday.

Will I receive promotional materials?

Yes, all participating venues will get access to branded signage, digital assets, and social media templates to help promote the festival. Everything will be available to download, so you can print and use the materials in your venue however you like.

What marketing support will I receive?

Every participating venue will get access to a downloadable promo pack that includes:

Printable posters and window artwork
Social media templates
You’ll be featured in the Seed Sounds Weekender “What’s On” listings, with the opportunity to appear across GigPig’s social media and email channels in the lead-up to the event.
